Bridget Osgood

After completing a foundation year at Brighton City College, I went on to study Graphic Communication at Bath School of Art and Design. I started working at Handprinted in September 2019 which ignited my passion for printmaking. You will often find me in the studio working on a variety of projects or experimenting with various techniques. I absolutely love exploring the possibilities of linocut and intaglio but mainly focus on screen printing.
My work is often influenced by popular culture, my friends and family, places I have visited and my walks along the South West Coast Path. Another of my creative passions is photography. Having a camera at my fingertips means that my camera roll is full of potential print ideas. I enjoy being able to transform my photos into print, often through halftones. I am excited to start exploring CMYK screen printing and photo-polymer etching and see how these techniques will enhance my practice.
