Personal Statement
I’m an illustrator and visual storyteller, inspired by traditional fairy tales and folklore. I enjoy interpreting stories I’ve heard or read, but reimagined with a little extra charm and magic. My work features wildlife and nature, with a nostalgic and whimsical style. As a printmaker, I create handmade multiples of the same artwork, but each one is unique and often limited in number. I produce fine art prints along with a range of stationery items. I work mostly with a relief printmaking method called linocut, but I’m starting to experiment with screen printing and etching.
I’m an Illustration BA (Hons) alumna from the University of Portsmouth.
