Suzi Wright

Suzi walks along East Wittering Beach every single day, in all weathers. She forages along the shoreline and collects anything of interest; broom handles, old paint brushes, pieces of old boat, sea glass, pebbles, shells and feathers.
Back in her studio Suzi will begin the process of drying any wood she finds. She will then create sculptures of birds, fish, lighthouses and boats from the found objects. Suzi also creates abstract relief wall hangings, mostly using found, brightly coloured pieces of old wooden boats. To many to onset of winter storms brings trepidation. However, for Suzi the storms bring with them the promise of exciting treasure which is thrown up along the beach.
