About Open Studios – Art Trail
From its very beginnings in 2001 as “Open Doors”, Chichester Open Studios – Art Trail (COS) has established itself as an exciting event in the Chichester art event calendar.
Chichester Open Studios – Art Trail currently includes the City, Eastward, Seaside, Peninsula, Harbour and Downs areas which can be explored individually or as a whole.
“We are so fortunate to have such a vibrant and eclectic number of talented artists in this area”.

What is an open studio?
An experience for visitors to learn direct from artists, their ideas, concepts, processes and personalities.
Participating artists have gained avid supporters of their work, with their creations finding new homes, increasing their online tollowing and securing tuture contacts for commissions and exhibitions.
