About the artist
Sterling silver jewellery inspired by shapes, forms and textures found in coastal environments. Silversmithing techniques are used to create rings, bangles, earrings and necklaces.
Personal Statement
I work predominantly in sterling silver, with occasional accents of gold and other materials. I enjoy exploring the working properties and design potential of silver, particularly it's response to texuring , folding, forging and forming. Surface textures are sometimes enhanced by chemical oxidation to increase the tactile property of the piece.
I have a broad experience of craft and design education and I trained at Shoreditch College of Education, specialising in jewellery and silversmithing.
I am a registered silversmith and I have my work hallmarked at Goldsmiths' Hall in London.
