This is the monthly Newsletter sent to artists on the current Chichester Open Studios Art Trail.

WELCOME to all artists on the 2020 Trail
We now have a new Trail in the making, and this is a message to all those artists who will be bringing the Chichester Open Studios Art Trail to life again in 2020.

177 artists have registered; with 40+ joining us for the first time, bringing new faces for visitors and adding even more variety to the art and practice on show.

Our next task is to gather all artists’ data to create the Trail, prepare the Trail Guide and renew the website with images of this year’s artwork.

 

DIARY DATES
More detailed information will follow as the Trail timeline unfolds, and you can always refer to the Website, where there are Diary Dates under the Join Us tab.
Here is a quick flit through the months leading up to May:

NEWSLETTERS
You will receive a Newsletter once a month, more frequently as Trail time approaches. This is how we inform you of the important information you need for the smooth running and success of the Trail.

FEBRUARY & EARLY MARCH
The time to check your new website page and your entry in the Trail Guide proof.

APRIL
Saturday 4th April will be set aside, at our studio in Chilgrove, for you to collect all the requirements for your Trail Venue. This will also be a social event for those who would like to stay and meet other artists.

Monday April 20th – Sunday April 26th
April is also the time of the Oxmarket Preview Exhibition. Each artist contributes a piece of work and this really is the launch of the 2019 Trail.

MAY
THE month! The Trail dates are the first 2 weekends in May 2019
Saturday, Sunday May 2nd, 3rd & Friday, Saturday, Sunday May 8th, 9th, 10th
Studios are open from 10.30am – 5.00pm and the artist is present during the opening hours.

 

DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES FOR ARTISTS? 

In 2020 we will be printing and distributing 22,000 Trail Guides into the hands of artists and art lovers. If you would like to let them know how you can enrich their creativity, an advertisement in the Guide may be a thought…

• Artists may advertise their courses or similar artistic services. The advertisement may indicate the associated Art Trail Venue number.

However

• Advertisements promoting an individual artist are not accepted. To maintain equal support for each Trail participant, the artist’s own entry in the Guide is deemed to be the only promotion necessary for an individual and their work.
• Artists enter the Trail as an individual and we do not promote any business sponsorship of an artist.

PS. Do you need images of yourself, your studio or your work?
