Oil paintings, mostly framed. Some mounted watercolours. Subjects landscapes and seascapes.
Personal Statement
Early work began at Manchester School of Art and later at the Glasgow School of Art. I’m interested in colour and texture mainly and I work from my own source material and photographs. I have exhibited in Paris, Glasgow, Lewes, Brighton and Chichester.
Paintings are mainly in oils. They are impressionistic in execution and concentrate on the natural beauty of our environment.
