Personal Statement
Artist Rebecca Ford works predominantly in natural materials and occasionally metal and wire. A child of Sussex, brought up in the beautiful downland of Woolbeding, she is informed by the geography and archaeology of the landscape. Her sculptures, seed like forms, are familiar, a connection to our shared past.
Rebecca has worked in a creative partnership with artist husband Mark Antony Haden Ford for over twenty years, creating installations for both the private and public sector, including many community projects.
