Sylvia designs and hand makes her jewellery using Titanium, Silver, Gold and semi-precious stones to create several distinctive collections within her jewellery range. In particular she uses the contrasts of colour or texture to create her unique designs, sometimes adding gold as decoration on a silver piece, using a textured pattern with oxidization or setting jemstones in silver or gold. Titanium, when anodised or heat treated, produces a wonderful range of beautiful colours which are used in her Titanium collection. Processes such as reticulation, texturing silver using a rolling mill, piercing and controlled heat treatment add to the number of different styles used in her work.
