Liz Shippam

Liz Shippam is an award winning botanical artist based in Chichester. Specializing in hyperrealistic watercolour paintings, Liz has carved a niche in the world of botanical art with her focus on soft fruit. Liz builds up many layers of paint to achieve a depth and realism that makes her subjects so lifelike. Celebrating the beauty in nature that often goes unnoticed, especially the transience of ripening fruit, each of Liz's paintings captures a fleeting moment in time, preserving the subtle changes in colour and texture that occur as fruit matures.
