About the artist
Photographs inspired by what I see, focusing on people and landscapes to incorporating ever changing light and moods.
Personal Statement
Much of my photographic inspiration comes from the world around me. I tend to be spontaneous with my camera, reacting to people, landscapes and objects. The process of taking a photograph enables me to slow down and admire the subtle beauty of everyday life. I am drawn to smaller, often overlooked and quirky details, seeking a fresh perspective and responding to the shifting light and atmosphere. This provides me with a wealth of photographable opportunities, sometimes with clarity and other times with ambiguity.
I’ve always found visiting open studios to be so stimulating, from looking at creative works of art to invigorating conversations. As a first-time participant, I am excited to share my images and to be part of the Chichester Art Trail, as I take the next step in my photographic journey.
