About the artist

Mixed work exploring tension between recognisable forms and the illogical.

Personal Statement

I’m a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans drawing, painting, printmaking and layered structures. My work explores how we look, what we notice, or miss, in a fast, screen-saturated world with ever changing rules.
I investigate perception and experience through movement and layers. I select colours, materials and processes to describe density, texture, fleeting impressions, and the temporal qualities of daily life.
Forms exist between states, neither wholly present nor absent, familiar nor alien. I would like viewers to pause and notice subtle shifts in tone, texture and depth that emerge through sustained attention, offering an alternative to the quick consumption of images in contemporary visual culture.

Originally studying Economics, I built a successful career in business before moving into the arts. Later I gained a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design and a Graduate Diploma in Fine Art from West Dean College, West Sussex, exhibiting in the UK and selling work to private collectors. My practice continues to evolve through ongoing research, experimentation, and engagement with the mundane and strangeness of everyday life.
