Personal Statement
Diploma in fine arts in City & Guilds. Studied etching for a post graduate year at Rhode Island School of Design Taught etching from home studio and summer painting school run by Peter and Olive Norton. Whilst in France had extensive opportunities to paint landscape in oil and watercolour. Founded Scott Foster designs for needlepoint tapestry kits and cushions. Enjoy painting directly from the subject whether a simple flower, Venetian palace or a wooded landscape. Exhibited etchings, watercolours and oils in Sussex, France, and London. Taken part in Chichester Art Trail since it’s initiation.
