About Deborah Porter & Wickle Cottage Studio

Deborah Porter’s journey is one of resilience, creativity, and healing. Over a decade ago, a life-changing brain injury altered her world, leaving her with invisible challenges. Determined to rebuild her life, she turned to art and craft as therapy, spending countless hours exploring colour, texture, mediums, materials and technique to rediscover herself.

A lifelong creator, Deborah has worked with a variety of mediums, including weaving, beading, ink, watercolor, pastel, encaustic wax, acrylic painting, and much more. Though she sees herself as a survivor rather than an artist, her passion for creativity is undeniable. She believes art should be accessible to all and encourages others to explore their own creative paths.

Deborah & Kev.O were brought together by a shared love of painting, mixed media and crafts, and with Kev.O's encouragement Wickle Cottage Studio was born.

Also as a member of the Middleton Art Group, she exhibits at the Norfolk Centre during the Arundel Festival of Arts and is excited to be exhibiting with Kev.O on the Chichester Open Studios Art Trail.
