Personal Statement
My work explores the texture, chaos, and overwhelming vibrancy of the natural world through abstract painting and mixed media collage.
I am fascinated by how light filters through dense foliage and the hidden patterns found in nature. I focus heavily on process and patterns, creating almost sculptural surfaces in vivid colours create by layers of acrylic paint and oil stick.
Alongside these, my mixed media collage series layers torn and painted pieces to build intricate, growth-like patterns over dynamic abstract backgrounds.
My goal is to capture energy and atmosphere, inviting you to immerse yourself in color and texture. I hope you enjoy exploring the layers and discovering the hidden details in each piece.
