About the artist
Hand-built, thrown ceramics, functional and decorative pieces using both crank and stone ware clay. Lakes surrounding studio give me inspiration.
Personal Statement
In 2020 I retired and moved to Chichester. After almost 2 years of once weekly pottery lessons I found myself hooked and built my studio in our garden . I'm enjoying the creative journey. Doing the Art Trail last year gave me a much needed boost of confidence in my growing abilities as a potter. The Art Trail and Ox Market have helped me focus and begin to hone my craft. I am now painting again after many years of avoidance; embracing it with more freedom.
