I am an artisan, whose work is a deep dive into transformation, celebrating how raw materials are shaped into unique, tactile art.
In my felt practice, I take raw wool and sculpt it into solid forms, textile 'paintings', and unique items to wear. This process is a mindful, physical conversation where wool fibres are guided and persuaded, embracing the inherent spontaneity and texture of the material to ensure every piece is entirely unique.
Complementing this, my acrylic paintings explore abstract nature themes on canvas, pots, and other items. These vibrant pieces capture the light, energy, and atmosphere of the landscape through expressive colour and bold mark-making.
