Lorraine Westwood

Hello I'm Lorraine Westwood I live in Selsey and I'm a self taught artist, for many years I didn't have time to continue with my art and develop it but during the pandemic when I was working on Intensive Care at St Richards Hospital in Chichester I picked up the paint brush and started painting and I haven't stopped. I paint in between work as much as I can, it's my passion in life, im all about the outdoors I love nature, seascape, landscapes and trees. I go on the beach and collect things that I can use in my artwork to create texture and intrest. I paint with Acrylic, Oil, watercolour and I'm going to get back into exploring pastels again. I paint from home and I'm using my garage as my little studio. I paint from my photography and from memory and do my interpretation of how I see the beauty we have around us, nature, landscapes and seascape along with the sky is a never ending canvas of colours and creation and I love to capture what I see.
This is my first year of entering, I have loved seeing other artists and they said to enter.
