Sarah Monro

Self taught, inspired by nature. I grew up on the south coast spending much of my life either on the beach or in the South Downs and later years moved to the Caribbean. My work is mostly Acrylic Inks and Acrylic Paints and other mixed media on a variety of surfaces. Each surface gives a different feel to the medium laid upon it. I love the evolution of the inks as they are blended with water sometimes with a mind of their own. The colours of nature and the seasons are always encouraging me to create. 2019 I was honoured to be invited to exhibit at the renowned The National Galley of the Cayman Islands alongside some incredible artists.
