About the artist
Sterling silver jewellery inspired by shapes, forms and textures found in coastal environments. Bangles, rings, necklaces and earrings.
Personal Statement
I work predominantly in sterling silver with occasional accents of other materials. I enjoy exploring the working properties and design potential of silver particularly its response to texturing, folding, forging and forming. Surface textures are sometimes enhanced by chemical oxidation giving a tactile property to the piece.
I have a broad experience in craft and design education and I am a registered silversmith. I have my work hallmarked at Goldsmith's Hall in London.
