Lee Carpenter

I am a photographer working across three contrasting but equally inspiring subjects: dogs, macro detail and motorsport. My work is rooted in the desire to capture moments that are often overlooked — the expression in a dog’s eyes, the fine textures of the natural world, or the split-second drama of racing.

Dog photography allows me to explore character and connection, creating images that feel honest, lively and full of personality. My motorsport photography draws on a different energy, focusing on speed, movement and atmosphere, freezing intensity into a single frame. In my macro work, I slow the pace completely, revealing hidden structures and miniature landscapes that encourage a closer look at the world around us.

Based in the Chichester area, I am continually developing my practice through new techniques and changing environments. Across all subjects, my aim is to produce images that are detailed, authentic and visually engaging, inviting viewers to experience each moment as I saw it.
