Alexandra Beale

I create sculptures in clay using the human form from life and nature to inspire my work . These pieces are often then cast in bronze or bronze resin for both the home and garden.
I teach sculpture to adult groups which is enormous fun and find the challenges they set me and the clay is an expression of art that brings forth all sorts of wonderful results.
I also love to paint in oil which is a relatively new discipline for me so there is a lot of exploration involved to find out what this medium has to offer. Working from life studies I have made or from an image that has inspired me I grab whatever time I can because it's practice that is required.
