For JAMES WARE, his work is a constant search to interpret views and experiences, offering a visual interpretation through experimentation of media. Predominantly through painting, pastel and printmaking underlined by strong compositional structures, there has to be impact and balance, from being chance and reward in reflecting the moment of subconscious creation. His studies are underlined by observations of drawing, particularly through timed exercises, accepting the process to completion. James endeavours to encourage the viewer to look and linger and appreciate his personal responses through the landscape or human form in varying large scale or small detail.

SIAN VAN DRIEL was born in the UK and spent her childhood in Canada and Italy. She graduated with BA(Hons) in Three Dimensional Design (Ceramic) from West Surrey College of Art and Design (UCA) and has exhibited nationally and internationally.

Recent works have been exploring the qualities of British and Japanese handmade papers with the combination of earth pigments, inks, watercolours and gold leaf. There is an emphasis on layering mark making and textured surfaces which are inspired by the natural environment, land marks, lights and shadows and refined in an abstract form on board or behind glass.

MIKE WALKER is a painter/printmaker and an academic who has written about other contemporary artists. He has exhibited widely in the United Kingdom and abroad. Aside from his studio practice Mike has also been involved with several collaborations, most notably with graphic designer Steve Rodgers, with painter Clifford Charles, with composer Bryn Harrison and with the poet Emma-Jane Arkady. He lives and works in West Sussex.

JAYNE SANDYS-RENTON is a painter focusing on natur

JAYNE SANDYS-RENTON is a painter focusing on nature and women. Her dense, interior landscapes invite the viewer to experience colour and gesture in these expressive, bold works that dip into fairy tale, myth, and transformation. Women that enter her work are implicitly present even if not always literally apparent, inviting a feeling of other worldliness. Colour and the physicality of the paint sweeping across the canvas in an entanglement of marks are paramount in these strong, vibrant paintings. Living in the Sussex landscape has been an ongoing inspiration, combined with Rubens figures, Jan Van Huysum flowers, women that inspire and contemporary painters.
Jayne works large scale in oil and has smaller works on paper and board.
Jayne has works in collections across Britain, in Rhode Island (Boston, USA), Portugal and Germany, and has exhibited regularly in London and the South of England. Most recently exhibiting with Glyndebourne in the Fair Ground exhibition.
Born in London, Jayne began painting from a young age before moving to Sussex. She has an MA with Distinction awarded by the University of Sussex at West Dean College (2008).

Helen came to art when her children were leaving h

Helen came to art when her children were leaving home and she needed to fill the gap that left. She went back to photography after a long break. It was these photos which led to her enrolling on an art course where she used them as inspiration. This led to specialising in screen printed textiles and then, after a trip to India where she block printed in some factories, using different techniques with the wooden blocks. Later an opportunity arose to do ceramics which opened the door to the artist she is today.
These are very different techniques but the question Helen wanted to answer is "can these be combined" in any way? Can clay be used to print on fabric? Can print techniques be used on clay? It was this question of WHAT IF which led to the current work of monoprinting and screen printing on clay and then, using clay to print on fabric.
While exploring this question Helen still makes clay poppy heads for the garden and screen prints on tea towels and tee shirts.
