Oil portraiture in Florence under Signorina Simi Obtained Diploma in Fine Art, City & Guilds of London under Bernard Dunstan(painting) Henry Wilkinson(etching)
Then year in USA Rhode Island School of Design with Dadi Wirz
WHI Tapestry Shop designing & painting canvases. Later set up Needlepoint tapestry business with Sally Foster. My designs hand painted floral & Sally’s geometric patterns, made up as kits & cushions.
Taught etching from home for many years & at Peter & Olive Norton’s summer painting school .. Cubertou, Lot, France..
Prefer to draw directly from subject in the landscape... now using watercolour with pastels & ink definition.
Spent some time in Venice where the light off the water & architectural detail are captivating!
