Personal Statement
Exciting and happy paintings in Oil and Acrylic. This is how I see my work; painting my love of shoreline, fields and skies. I prefer oils and a palette knife as they create expressionist, colourful paintings for moods of sea, land and weather. There’s something for everyone, sizes 15cm to 100cm (6”to3ft). I hope you will enjoy the appeal of my palette knife painting as it moves beyond representation. My use of texture and colour expresses moods not possible in photographs.
My life holds a long, varied interest in wines, enjoying the endless variety of grapes, countries and styles. I have designed greetings cards depicting wine grapes or Humorous Wine captions - some new designs in 2023. Perfect for your Wine Loving Family or Friends on Birthdays. Find me at the easel in my light filled barn where you can browse at your leisure. I’m displaying late 2022 work, and some 2023 Oil beginnings on the easel.
