Christine Lababidi

From the moment I was introduced to glass making I was fascinated by the varied techniques to explore within the medium. I began with traditional stained glass techniques but wanted to create curves, textures and movement with glass, so fusing and kiln forming were a natural development in my journey.
After taking a year off to do a B Tec in Art and Design in Glass, I exhibited at The New Designers Exhibition and had a piece selected for the “Vessel”exhibition at Vessels Gallery.
My inspiration comes from textures and forms found in nature. Having recently relocated my local beaches and harbours will be a constant inspiration for new work.
