Linda Foskett

As a multimedia artist I love painting from nature, Landscape or Seascape oil paintings often taking these subjects into print making where they become more abstract. I paint a scene and then blow it up onto a larger canvas. I really enjoy working on a larger format. I also enjoy working with metal, making silver jewellery and enamelling on copper. I have found the unexpected effects achieved in enamelling is similar to print making where there is often an exciting twist or surprise that can never be replicated making each item a unique piece of art. I have exhibited for over 20 years and am proud to know my work can be found in collections in the UK also in Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, France and the Netherlands.
In recent years I have had the opportunity to run a gallery in West Wittering. Giving an exhibition space for myself and many of my friends to showcase our work all year round. As this is my place I work and the gallery needs to be open at the weekends I will be taking over the gallery myself including a demonstration area and offering private views of my studio to visitors when the gallery is closed.
