About the artist
Eclectic mix of bespoke and functional pieces of metalwork.
Forging, welding and plasma techniques.
Making traditional and modern art with a twist.
Personal Statement
I was a commercial fishermen for 30 years and when weather was adverse I would make bespoke garden items like firepits and the usual gates but with a bespoke design and do repairs for the locals.
I wished to be able to make more ornate items so enrolled in evening classes at college to perfect my skills.
I have and do spend many hours experimenting and make more eg embellished flowers, using traditional forging techniques as well as using modern day equipment (plasma cutter and induction) which has given me a more diverse range of what I can produce keeping time and costs to appeal to all budgets.
