About the artist
Handmade bespoke silver jewellery, made using recycled silver, seaglass and semi precious gem stones.
I consider myself lucky enough to be a silversmith, living next to an ever inspiring coastal landscape and within sight of the beautiful Southdowns. Being a silversmith has become a life long hobby for me. I started studying and began creating. Then with much enthusiastic encouragement from friends and family I started Knotted Rose jewellery. I've been mainly self taught and have expanded my knowledge and skills through experimentation and repetition. Taking inspiration from natural forms and stargazing, I love working with soft lines, creating circles, orbs and texture, juxtaposing natural stones with new settings to create a modern vibe in my pieces. Walks along my local coast line have lead me to enjoy the hunt for seaglass and incorporate that into my work. Using more ethical materials has become a large part of my design process so choosing a recycled silver option and seaglass fits the more sustainable ethos I'm trying to follow.
Three miles south of Bosham. Go through the white gates at Bosham Hoe (marked private road). Take the first left. We are the first house on the left. Plenty of parking.
