About the artist

Forging, welding and plasma technique's, making traditional and modern art.
Personal Statement
I was a commercial fishermen for 30 years and when weather was adverse I would make gates and do repairs, and be asked to make garden items and firepits as they were the trend and people wanted their own bespoke product.
I also wanted to be able to make finer items, so did evening classes for 3 years to perfect my skills, and spend many hours experimenting and make ornate embellished flowers using traditional forging technique's, as well as modern day plasma cut butterflies, bees etc. My work is a mix of bespoke and functional pieces of art and upcycle materials as much as possible.
My workshop tool set comprises of many traditional tools as well as modern day equipment.
