James Ware

My work is a constant search to interpret views and experiences, offering a visual translation through experimentation of media. Predominantly through painting, drawing and printmaking underlined by strong compositional structures, there has to be impact and balance, finding chance and reward in reflecting the moment of subconscious creation. My studies are underlined by observations of drawing, particularly through timed exercises, accepting the process to completion. I endeavour to encourage the viewer to look and linger and appreciate my personal responses through the landscape or human form in varying large scale or small detail.
