About the artist
Mostly hand thrown pottery made from stoneware clays, including hand building and miniatures.
Personal Statement
Art has always been a passion of mine, but it wasn’t until I took my first pottery lesson that I became truly hooked. I primarily create wheel-thrown pottery, using a limited range of clays, while also experimenting with my own glazes.
In 2021, I was fortunate enough to land a job as an assistant potter at the same studio where I took my first lesson. Initially, my focus was on crafting smaller functional stoneware pieces for eating and drinking. However, as my throwing skills and confidence have grown, I am now exploring larger sizes, diverse styles, and incorporating handbuilding and sculpture into my work.
