Personal Statement
I am a artist using oils and acrylics painting small and large abstracts and pared back still life. The more complicated life gets, the more I want to simplify my art in order to move away from the freneticism of every day life. Removal and restraint are important in trying to offer calm, quiet contemplative paintings that hint of another place, a feeling or a moment in time.
