Personal Statement
I have been making sculptural ceramics based on the natural world around me for more than twenty years and still find myself mesmerised by the infinite possibilities for ceramic. I use different clay bodies to suit the different work that I make. So high fired grogged stoneware for my abstract outdoor seedpods for the garden and decking area. A stoneware porcelain mix for my unique Welsh houses and Studio buildings and porcelain for much of my jewellery and handbuilt beakers and mugs.
