Personal Statement
At the heart of my work is an interest in how we perceive ourselves in relation to societal beauty standards. I believe everyone is inherently beautiful, the challenge lies in acknowledging and celebrating our differences. Through my art, I aim to challenge conventional ideas of perfection, encouraging viewers to see strength in vulnerability and grace in imperfection.
My current body of work focuses on anthropomorphic trees, exploring themes of identity, beauty, the complexities of human form and abstract nature. I teach relaxed art classes and will be showing painting demonstrations and invite visitors to participate.
