Oil paintings, mostly framed. Some mounted watercolours. Subjects mainly seascapes and landscapes.
Personal Statement
Early work began at the Manchester School of Art and later at the Glasgow Art School. I’m interested in colour and texture and I work from my own source materials and photographs. I have exhibited nationally in Paris, Glasgow, Lewes, Brighton and Chichester.
Paintings are mainly in oils with some mounted watercolours. They are impressionistic in execution and concentrate on the natural beauty of our environment.
