Neil Holland

Neil Holland is an award winning architect and landscape painter, working in the Romantic tradition. His landscape water colours capture “the spirit of the place” and celebrate his love of Sussex.
He breaks down the landscape into layers in a contrasting way. The palette and tone he employs references his experience of designing buildings, taking our eye through the composition and the narrative of the picture. These scenes are about storytelling, a memory, not just the depiction of time.
Neil will be showing a number of works captured plein air throughout Sussex.
