Oil paintings, some mounted watercolours. Subjects mostly landscapes and seascapes.
Personal Statement
Early work began at the Manchester School of Art and later at the Glasgow School of Art. I’m interested in colour and texture and I work from my own source material, either sketches or photographs. I have exhibited nationally in Glasgow, Paris, Brighton and Chichester.
Paintings are mainly in oils with some watercolours. They are impressionistic in execution and concentrate on the natural beauty of our environment.
