Personal Statement
I am in my happy place when painting: if all is going well! There has never been any formal training: all I have learnt has come from art workshops, demonstrations and many enjoyable painting holidays with friends, throughout the years.
I have tried most mediums: oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolours and many different subjects. I do love strong colours but have been told, more than once, that I am a sensitive painter.
As artists, I think we are really privileged to see the world differently, noting shadows, tones and colours, whether they be in a landscape, skies or in a person's face.
Walberton has been my home for many years and I am a member of the Downland Art Society who regularly meet here. For nearly 80 years it has brought like-minded artists together.

From A27 towards Arundel, take turning down Yapton Lane. At Blacksmith's Corner take right hand turning into Walberton. Take first right into Prime Close. Number 6 is just on the right past Henty Close.
