About the artist

Organic whimsical floral designs by experimenting with vivid acrylics, bleach dye, and gold leaf to express the natural world.

Personal Statement

Since I could hold a pencil, I’ve been drawing flowers. My artistic aspirations blossomed from there. Throughout school, I expressed the world visually by cramming my notebooks with doodles over words, finding refuge in art. During my time at Winchester School of Art, I discovered my aptitude for organic whimsical floral designs by experimenting with vivid acrylics, bleach dye, and gold leaf to express the natural world.

My artistic pursuits have led me to winning the Tech Select award and the opportunity to showcase my art for Premier Vision in Paris. Here, my distinct aesthetic captured the attention and commission of brands such as Zara and Anthropology, later receiving the Liberty Pattern award from Emma J Shipley.

I have since worked among the bustling textiles and print culture in London for Parry Murray, and independently curated an exhibition for Sussex Art Fair for Goodwood. I have hosted workshops for Pallant House Gallery and Northbrook College. My aim now is to work towards a subsequent exhibition which features more imposing and dramatic floral pieces. My motivation for the Sussex Art Trail is to showcase my progress current collection, with the goal to transfer original pieces to silk dress and home design.
