The quality of light is forever changing; so too are the colours we see. I am drawn to glass as it adds another dimension through reflection. There is a fascination and wonder at the juxtaposition of the sea and sky; sea and land as well as land and sky that inspires my work.
The contours, shapes and colours all change dependent on the light and season.
Each piece I create brings the possibility of light and reflection.
The pieces can be installed in the garden or the home with accented light used to show off the colours of the glass at night.
The wood is sourced from reclaimed sea defences along the south coast from a certified reclamation company who specialise in re-using/re-purposing hard woods.
