Personal Statement

Mark Antony Haden Ford weaves sculptures and installations from wire and willow. Born in Chichester and he is a fine art Graduate from the university of Sunderland.
In 2004 Mark with wife Rebecca they created Two Circles Design, a working partnership making monumental woven environments for both public and private sectors. These surreal installations and ambiguous sculptures encompass a wide range of traditional skills and practices. Commissions include South Downs National Park, RHS Tatton, Butlins, Burberry, Glastonbury Festival, Arundel Wetlands, Venice Biennale, Grange Opera, National Trust, Butser Ancient Farm. Surrey University, Arundel Castle, Romsey Abbey and Environmental Land Art events including LEAF Festival USA, ELAF Scotland, Canada, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Talamh Festival in Ireland. They have collaborated with many Schools, Colleges and Universities and continue to run workshops with community groups.
