Helen Button

Helen's work is inspired by her love of nature & wildlife, especially birds. Her work is hand-built, unique one off pieces usually mounted on clay or wood or stand alone for the home & garden. Having only begun her creative journey in the last 7years she has been forming and building with clay, she is developing a range and constantly exploring texturing, glazes and oxides. Most relaxed whilst holding a piece of clay in her hands and allowing this to dictate what animal is created. More recently she has been experimenting with Raku, loving the unpredictability of the outcome!
