Judith Martin-Gould

I love to paint and draw and do so regularly. I work in my own small studio but also paint with a group called Dell Quay Artists. We meet to share ideas and support at two venues: Chichester Harbour Conservancy class room and in a private studio. I enjoy working with oils, acrylics and collage. I am an enthusiastic keeper of sketchbooks. They act as records of ideas and plans for working on bigger paintings. I strive to capture the essence of landscapes, seascapes and still life with an emphasis on abstracting elements of my subjects through colour, shape and form. I have had exhibitions in the Oxmarket Centre, Chichester, Colonnade House, Worthing,and recently Cranleigh Arts Centre.
